What a joyful experience it was to once again do maternity photography in Central Florida for my cousin. The first photo session we did for her, she was 32 weeks pregnant with baby Ezequiel. This time around she was in her 32nd week of pregnancy as well!
The first photo session we did was only my cousin and her husband. Having their firstborn be a part of these photos was so fun! I’ve found that sometimes people only take maternity photos when they are having their first born but don’t have them done for their second or third! We love it when a Mom wants to documented this beautiful part of motherhood for every child. It is so great to look back and to be able to include siblings in these special moments as the family grows. Another fun aspect is being able to recreate some images from the firstborn’s session! The photos below with the sunglasses are some of my cousin’s favorites and ours too!
Having Family Close is Truly a Joy
Being from El Salvador, most of my family isn’t close by. Moving to Central Florida a few years ago was great because it gave me the ability to be a little bit closer to my cousin. She is the one of the very few family members that I have here in the States and I am so grateful to see her family grow. It has been a beautiful experience witnessing how Rissa and Dylan’s love has developed. I remember just like it was yesterday when Kellie and I had the privilege to be at their lovely sunset wedding. Now, a few years later they are welcoming a second child and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them. It has been an honor for me to have photographed both of her maternity sessions.
Next step, the newborn photoshoot! Which I can’t wait to photograph!
