If you are looking for a dreaming location to take your engagement photos in Orlando, we’ve found a gem for you. Just across the street from the hustle and bustle of the famed Park Ave in Winter Park, lies the gorgeous grounds of Rollins College. This campus makes you question whether or not you may just be living inside of a dreamy Hallmark movie. Its beautiful old architecture, enchanting rose garden, and hidden spots of greenery makes it truly one of our favorite spots to photograph couples in love.
A short walk through the campus will lead you to the shoreline of Virginia Lake and Dinky Dock Park. If gardens and architecture weren’t enough to convince you that this spot is perfect, let’s add some romantic dockside photos to the mix. Offering what we think is the perfect variety of natural backdrops for an engagement session.
It felt like the perfect location to meet up with Brittany & Froi. The couple that we first met over coffee after they came across our website in search of a wedding photographer. After meeting we learned that Brittany is a bit on the quieter side and beyond sweet just like Kellie. Froi and I connected immediately with our outgoing personalities, Latin roots, and love of futbol (soccer). From ordering the same drinks to discovering we lived in the same apartment complex and didn’t even now. We bonded, quickly becoming friends. When they asked us to photograph their garden wedding we were beyond honored!
Before we could photograph their wedding doing an engagement session was a must! We love engagement sessions because they help us to get to know our couples more. They also give our couples a chance to get a feel for what it’s like being in front of a lense.
At first, Brittany and Froi were feeling a little shy just like we all do, but friends let me tell you that by the end they were acting like models!
